Dimensions:
Late 18th century Dutch knitting sheath/scabbard.
No marks but tests as silver.
This is in lovely condition with very good crisp foliate decoration.
There is a loop on one side from which a chain would be attached so it would hang below the arm.
On one side there is a hole which I understand allowed for the disposal of the wool grease.
