These are a rare pair of Georgian 18th century sprung sugar tongs.
This particular design was only made for a very short period of time.
These are a very nice example of the design, but they have had repair. They do however work!
The central button at the top appears to have had a new central rivet and there has been repair to one of the arms.
However, if you are a collector and do not have this design in your collection then they would make a great addition. The repair is of course reflected in the price.
