This is a wonderful quality miniature "Harrow" straw boater.  It was made/retailed by T Smith & Son Harrow on the Hill.  I believe it to date from the 1920's 1930's.  The strap under is a replacement.  There appear to be 4 layers of straw to the brim of the boater.  I wondered it was a salesman's sample as I am sure these were not just made for the school.  I also read that souvenir boaters were made, if it is a souvenir it is top quality.
