Item Details
A portrait miniature of Mervyn J Ingram painted by Mrs Porter Bailey when he was 2.5 years old. As the miniature is stuck down well inside I have been cautious and registered it under the ivory act S3GLQSRS. Mervyn was born in 1909 in Chelsea his father was a famous ornithologist. I believe that Mrs Bailey was a well known portrait artist in Chelsea. Lovely condition original frame. Signed with a monogram.
